Trisha resides in Chennai with her parents and grandmother. Her mother tongue is Tamil,and she converses fluently in Hindi, French, and English.Her mother Uma Krishnan, had been offered various roles by several Tamil film makers and actors including Kamal Hassan, but turned them down, as she wanted to concentrate on Trisha’s career. She accompanies Trisha on film shoots, events, and functions, and they have appeared together only in a commercial advertisement. About her relationship with her mother, Trisha remarks, “She has been the pillar of my strength and has stood by me like a rock through thick and thin.[…] Everyone in the industry and my friends know how close I’m to my mom.”

 Early Life

Trisha was born and raised in Chennai (then known as Madras), whose ancestors hailed from the Palakkad region of Kerala.[8][9] She completed schooling at the Sacred Heart Matriculation School in Church Park, Chennai,[4] and later pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course at the Ethiraj College for Women (Chennai). She ventured into modeling and appeared in several print and television commercials. In 1999, she won the “Miss Salem” beauty pageant, and later the same year, the Miss Madras contest. She had also won the Miss India 2001 pageant’s “Beautiful Smile” award.

Trisha had aspired to become a criminal psychologist initially, and resisted the thought of pursuing acting, as she wanted to complete her studies first. She also appeared in Falguni Pathak’s music video Meri Chunar Ud Ud Jaye as Ayesha Takia’s friend. She was later approached for an acting role in Tamil movie Lesa Lesa by Indian film director Priyadarshan, which marked the beginning of her professional career as an actress.During her college course, she had occupied herself with a tight shooting schedule, which made it difficult to continue with her education.However, she compensated by attending summer classes.

Kajal was born in Mumbai to Vinay Agarwal, an entrepreneur, and Suman Agarwal, a confectioner.She is of Punjabi descent.She has a younger sister, Nisha Agarwal, who is also an actress appearing in Telugu and Tamil films.She studied at St. Anne’s High School, Colaba, Mumbai and Jai Hind College, Mumbai. Tamannaah was born on 21 December 1989 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, to Santhosh and Rajani Bhatia and she has an elder brother, Anand. Her father is a financial consultant. She is of Sindhi descent. She did her schooling in Maneckji Cooper Educational Trust School, Juhu, Mumbai. She received wide public recognition and several Best Actress awards for her leading roles in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 1999 melodrama Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and 2002 period film Devdas. She gained critical appreciation for her portrayal of Tagore’s heroine Binodini in Rituparno Ghosh’s 2003 film Chokher Bali, and a depressed woman in Ghosh’s 2004 relationship drama Raincoat. Following a series of commercially unsuccessful films, Rai featured in the 2006 blockbuster adventure film Dhoom 2, the 2008 historical romance Jodhaa Akbar, and the 2010 science fiction film Enthiran. She garnered wide critical acclaim for her work in Bhansali’s 2010 romantic drama Guzaarish.

Following a tumultuous relationship with actor Salman Khan, Rai married actor Abhishek Bachchan in 2007. Her off-screen roles include duties as a brand ambassador for several charity organisations and campaigns; she is a Goodwill Ambassador for the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS). She was awarded with the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2009, and the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the Government of France in 2012.

Sameera Reddy (born 14 December 1983) is an Indian actress who primarily appears in Tollywood and Bollywood films. Apart from Hindi and Telugu, she has also appeared in a number of Telugu, Bengali, Malayalam and Tamil films.

Reddy was born on 14 December 1983 in Rajamundry, Andhra Pradesh. Her father Chintapoli (C. P.) Reddy, a Telugu, is a businessman,while her mother Nakshatra, a Goud Saraswat Brahmin, referred to as Niki by her daughters and in the media, was a microbiologist and worked with an NGO.She has two siblings, Meghna Reddy, a former VJ and supermodel,[8] and Sushma Reddy, a Bollywood actress and model,both elder to her.She did her schooling at Bombay Scottish School in Mahim, Mumbai and graduated from Sydenham College.

Sameera described herself as a “Tomboy” and “the ugly duckling in the family”, while citing: “I was plump, had glasses and my glam quotient was rather low till I was 19”She also claimed that she had always been “the calm one” and “most diplomatic” among the sisters and was pampered since she was the youngest in the family.

Reddy first appeared in ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas’s “Aur Aahista” music video in 1996, when she was a graduate. She caught the attention of Bollywood and was cast in a pivotal role in the 2002 Hindi film Maine Dil Tujhko Diya. In 2004, she appeared in Musafir.

Reddy appeared in the Tamil film Vaaranam Aayiram directed by Gautham Menon, opposite Surya Sivakumar, which was a blockbuster. Reddy’s acting and modest portrayal of a confident and down-to-earth girl earned her rave reviews.

Reddy is a big fan of American talk show queen Oprah Winfrey. She met Oprah during the former’s visit to India at the welcome party hosted by Parmeshwar Godrej. As the television celebrity was reportedly impressed by Sameera’s saree, she was presented a similar saree as a gift by the actress before she left India.
